Consultants of Technology Co., Ltd. (COT)composed of Mr. Bien Anatan, Ms. Wannee Lattitawanich, Dr. Pornchai Ongwongsakul, Mr. Kitti Kumpeera, and Ms.Manisa Tepbanchaporn visited the Office of Deputy Governor of Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), K. Pramote Sudsap to introduce USAID Southeast Asia’s Smart Power Program (SPP)and to investigate potential opportunities of collaboration.
Opportunities identified include
Capacity building from U.S. staff who experiences on smart meter implementation/knowledge sharing/case study/lessons learned from other countries. Smart Meter Operation Center (SMOC) is now in the procurement process of hiring the consultant firm. SPP may be able to support the process. Capacity building especially regarding the SMOC and demand response (DR) in the future.
